Jackson, Missi. – The North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education Center (NMFHVEC) adjacent to Enid Lake is hosting pumpkin painting for youngsters on Saturday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m.
Participants will create pumpkin art using paint and decoupage and can decorate their pumpkins with images of trophy fish, monster bucks, beautiful flowers, colorful birds, or even creepy bugs.
Pumpkins and painting supplies will be provided and participants will receive helpful hints, hand-on help, and step-by-step instructions. Painting is fun, but can be messy so make sure the young artists and their assistants wear appropriate clothing.
