James McGinty used his STI 2011 9mm to take the title in the Enhanced Service Pistol Division at the IDPA World Championship match at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, FL. The Inaugural IDPA World Championship took place September 21st through September 24th, 2011.

His STI 2011, drawn from a Blade-Tech Holster, helped him to score a time of 283.31.

Rain, wet and muddy ranges and heat helped make the difficult stages even more so. James pressed on, moving into the new Distinguished Master Class as he took the Division Championship.

In other ESP action, Morgan Allen followed McGinty with 312.35. Greg Martin was third, posting a 315.73.
