10.05.2011– Teton Village, Wyo. – The award-winning producers from premier multimedia action sports brand Teton Gravity Research (TGR) announce the release of the Further trailer. To watch it, please visit tetongravity.com/further.
Taking his lifetime expedition to the next level, Jeremy Jones leads his crew of world class riders, cameramen and guides to the far corners of the earth in Further. Drawing upon a lifetime of experience, Jones seeks out first descents in exotic locations in an effort to evolve not only his snowboarding, but himself. The relationships forged from isolation and travel are almost as intriguing as the maniacal descents themselves. Join Jeremy and his crew in the Arctic Circle, Japan, Alaska, the High Sierra, the remote Pickett Range, and other faraway zones as they push their minds and bodies Further.
“It’s fun to be 25 years into snowboarding and frothing for winter like a little kid, and I think that’s because of changing my approach to the mountains – going splitboarding,” says Jones. “Deeper really opened up the world’s mountains to me. I started looking at the map much differently. If there’s good snow and good terrain on this planet, I will get to where I need to go to snowboard. With Further, I hope to continue to evolve my snowboarding and take it to places I’ve never been.”
“Jeremy has very high standards,” says Jon Klaczkiewicz, Further Producer. “This type of filming deep in the backcountry requires an extraordinary level of coordination from a completely dialed crew. We’re developing new camera rigs, dealing with batteries in freezing temps with only solar power; and from a physical standpoint, filming these lines is very labor intensive compared to typical snowboard films. He’s not only pushing his own limits of exploration on a snowboard, he’s pushing us as filmmakers.”
