Jerry “Ace” Luciano Honored by Mossy Oak and Remington, Donates to Help Youth Hunting

Jerry “Ace” Luciano was recently honored with a prize package of (5) brand new firearms from Remington for top performance in the nation out of over 1000 Mossy Oak pro staff team members participating in Remington’s “Remington Rebates” program. Ace’s winnings included One (1) VersaMax camo, One (1) Model Seven Predator in 223, One (1) Model 870 Super Slug Model, (1) Model 887 NitroMag Combo, and One (1) Model 597, all in Mossy Oak camo patterns.
Upon receipt of his prize package, he immediately made a donation of the Model 597 .22 caliber rifle to the United Sportsman’s Youth Foundation, whose mission is to introduce youth to hunting and the outdoors.
“I think it’s important to ‘Give Back’ to the sport with time, involvement, and money so that our fine tradition of the traditional outdoor sports of hunting and shooting will not only continue to thrive, but be enjoyed by thousands of kids that might not otherwise have the opportunity.” Said Ace on his decision: “I was really lucky. My father took me hunting and fishing a lot as a kid, and often sacrificed his time and opportunities to ensure that I had a good time. There are a lot of kids out there that don’t have that opportunity. I’ve decided to support an organization whose mission is to change that.”
“Ace called me up the day the announcement for the contest was made and said, “Dan, please do me a favor and call Remington to give them my address so they can deliver my guns.” Now, with a lot of people, that type of statement would be easily dismissed. I knew better. At the midway point, there was another pro staff member ahead of him, and I received another phone call. “Dan, don’t worry. I’ll still win it.” With that, he doubled his total (and that of the nearest competitor). Ace was ranked #1 out of over 1000 Mossy Oak Pro Staff Members. That is quite an honor and business as usual for Ace.”
