Bass Pro Shops Celebrate Halloween with Peanuts

Springfield, Missouri- Halloween, one of autumn’s most colorful and fun festivities, is eagerly anticipated by most children. This year, bring the kids and have a Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus and Lucy Halloween as the Great Pumpkin comes to your local Bass Pro Shops.
Free kids’ activities including fun crafts, a costume parade and “Trick-or-Treating” will be available at 53 Bass Pro Shops retail locations in the United States and Canada the last two weekends in October (excluding Branson, Miami, Islamorada, and Outlet). Kids will receive free Peanuts™ themed coloring sheets and get a free photo download of them with the Great Pumpkin. Fridays, October 21st and 28th from 4-7pm, Bass Pro Shops will offer “Trick or Treating” throughout the stores as well as on Halloween, Monday, October 31st. Look for the orange and black balloons to mark in-store locations that are passing out treats.
It wouldn’t be Halloween without pumpkins so Fridays, October 21st and October 28th, from 5-7pm kids will enjoy getting ready for the season by making a fun Halloween reflector necklace. Saturday and Sunday, October 22nd and 23rd from 1-4pm, and Monday, October 31st kids can decorate a Peanuts™ trick-or-treat bag. Kids will also enjoy coloring a wood pumpkin from 1-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, October 29th and 30th. (All crafts available while supplies last)
Let the kids dress in their favorite costume and be part of the costume parade Friday, October 21st and October 28th from 6pm to 7pm with small prizes being awarded to participants. Saturdays, October 22nd and 29th and Sundays, October 23rd and 30th, bring the kids to roast marshmallows and sample a tasty apple dessert (see store for exact times).
