Comp-Tac Victory Gear now offers several holster options for Springfield’s XD (M) series pistols of the 9mm or .40 calibers. Besides firearm-specific 
holsters that completely cover the length of the 3.8, 4.5, or 5.25 models, Comp-Tac now offers the newest addition: the Springfield XD (M) Slide.
The XD (M) Slide is made to fully cover the length of the 3.8 model. The holster bottom is opened up and allows for the 4.5 and 5.25 models to “slide” through; hence where the Comp-Tac Slide version holster receives its name. This version of holster is specifically geared towards XD (M) owners who want one holster to fit all of their 9mm or .40 XD (M) model pistols.
Slide version holsters are ideal for outside the waistband (OWB) range use or inside the waistband (IWB) personal carry.
