Bear Permit Pick-up Deadline Sunday at Midnight for New Jersey

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is reminding hunters that permits awarded in the 2011 Black Bear Hunting Season Permit Lottery must be claimed by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, November 13. Awarded permits can be claimed at any license agent or online (mailing fees apply). Unclaimed and leftover permits will become available on Wednesday, November 16, at 10am and remain available for each bear hunting area until the close of the season or when the permit quota for each area is reached.
