Nevada DF Firefighters Collect Food and Money for Carson City Charity

CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Division of Forestry’s seasonal firefighters held a food drive Monday at the north Carson City Wal-Mart.
Customers donated 150 lbs. of food and $350 at the store’s entrance. The food and money are being donated to F.I.S.H. in Carson. F.I.S.H. serves the needs of the homeless and hungry.
Seasonal firefighters also cut about 10 Christmas trees at a fuels-reduction project, which were also donated.
