Shaw Grigsby Hangs Big Bass in Texas on Sportsman Channel This Saturday

Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American sportsman, takes fishing enthusiasts on a trip they will not soon forget on One More Cast with Shaw Grigsby.  Falcon Lake is the destination and largemouth bass is the target of choice. Grigsby and renowned fishing guide, Speedy Collett, travel to Texas for the opportunity to catch largemouth bass on bass-rich Falcon Lake. The two diehard fishermen used the right tackle and the fish were biting in large numbers! You can watch the nonstop “bites” on Saturday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET exclusively on Sportsman Channel.

Year after year, Falcon Lake consistently produces big bass that attract fishermen from across the country. The lake sits on the Mexican border and is not only safe, but also provides fishermen a wonderful overall experience.  The action starts early as Collett catches a three-pound bass on his first cast. The mere size of the fish was nothing to brag about, however; the fish continue to bite the Rage Lobster rigs and the fish continue to grow.

“Falcon Lake is one of my favorite fisheries in the country”, said Grigsby, host of One More Cast with Shaw Grigsby. “It’s not often you can fish on a lake that produces big bass time after time. Collett and I had a great time and I’m still amazed by the big fish we caught. We mostly used swim jigs and they came through for us with flying colors.”

After the two men switched location, the wind started to pick up. The conditions did not stop the action as Grigsby hooked the fish of the day, a ten-pound largemouth bass. The fish put up a great fight, however; Shaw’s hook and unbridled excitement would not be denied.
