Michigan’s Apr. 12 ‘Ask The DNR’ Features Wildlife, Fisheries and Law Enforcement Experts

   04.10.12

Tune in to CMU Public Television on Thursday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. for “Ask The DNR” – a special one-hour installment of CMU’s “Ask The Specialists” series.

“Ask The DNR” airs live from the WCMU studio and will be hosted this week by television veteran and outdoor enthusiast Bob Garner. This episode will feature professional advice from Dean Molnar, assistant chief of the DNR Law Enforcement Division; Mark Tonello, a DNR fisheries biologist; and Russ Mason, chief of the DNR Wildlife Division.

“This is one of our most popular shows in the series, so we give our viewers the opportunity to ‘Ask The DNR’ twice a season, and we expand the normally half-hour show to an hour,” said Courtney Brooks, “Ask The Specialists” producer.

Viewers can get their questions to the week’s specialists three different ways: email brook2c@cmich.edu before the show; call in and speak to phone volunteers from 7:30-8:30 p.m. during the live program toll-free at 1-800-727-9268; or tweet questions to the production crew at @WCMU_AskThe.

The “Ask The Specialists” series airs live from the WCMU studio each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and viewers to ask anonymous questions of a variety of in-studio specialists, including doctors, lawyers, realtors, builders, gardeners, CPAs, small business specialists, senior care specialists, home energy specialists and more.

Upcoming April Programs Include:

  • “Ask The Gardeners” Thursday, April 19
  • “Ask The Michigan Vacation Specialists” Thursday, April 26
