OutdoorHub Reporters 04.20.12
On the other side of the pond, European fly fishers compete in organized competitions with competitors from all across the continent and the globe. The nation of Slovenia in south central Europe has only had a national championship for the past 13 years. It evolved from a seemingly social meet-and-fish into a competitive title. In recent years, Slovenians called out for international rules so they could compete outside of their home country and the organizers heard out their pleas. Watch to see clips from and learn about how the competition has evolved over the years.
