The 3,500-square-foot shop is roughly split between range and sales floor, where the trio specializes in getting beginners started in archery the right way.
The second Dealer of the Year – French Creek Outfitters of Phoenixville, PA – was started by Mike Friedland and employs 39 including General Manager Wayne MacDonnell. The huge shop covers approximately 32,000 square feet, but maintains a “small store” atmosphere in many of its several departments; it’s telling that the personal, high-level customer service of the full-service outdoor sporting goods store really began in the shop’s archery department.
