Northwestern Outdoors Radio Adds Portland Station and More Broadcasts

The staff at Northwestern Outdoors Radio is thrilled to announce its entry into the Portland market! AM 1360 KUIK – Westside Talk Radio, covering Portland, Hillsboro and Washington County since 1957, will be carrying our regional outdoors recreation show every Saturday at 9 AM and on Sunday at a time to be determined.

In addition to this new market, two additional stations have added second broadcasts of Northwestern Outdoors Radio to their weekend line-up. KXLY 920 in Spokane is now airing our hour-long show Saturdays at 5 PM and Sundays at 6 AM while KMAS News Radio 1030 AM/104.1 FM airs our show in Shelton and the South Puget Sound region Saturdays at 10 AM and Sundays at 11 AM.

These additions mean Northwestern Outdoors Radio is now heard 44 times every week on 33 stations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This makes our show the most widely distributed outdoors radio show in the Northwest and one of the largest syndicated outdoors shows in the nation.

Northwestern Outdoors Radio is produced every week from its flagship station at 560 KPQ in Wenatchee, Washington where it was first heard in October of 2007. The show host and producer is John Kruse, a veteran outdoors writer and broadcaster.
