This past Saturday Remington Arms Company, LLC, (“Remington”) sponsored the 2012 Annual Clays for Campers Charity Tournament. All proceeds of the event, hosted at Shane’s Sporting Clays in Summerfield, NC, went to support the Victory Junction Camp which raises funds, awareness and support for young patients and their families coping with autism, cancer, diabetes and over 20 other serious illnesses.
Remington, one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating manufacturers and America’s oldest firearms company, sponsored this event with financial support, ammunition and over a dozen shotguns including a unique Victory Junction logoed shotgun as a raffle prize.
“Remington was thrilled to be a part of this special event to support Clays for Campers and the Victory Junction Camp,” said George Kollitides, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Freedom Group and Remington Board of Directors. “Promoting the shooting sports and associated charities along with supporting our communities is important to Remington and all the Freedom Group brands along with our dedicated employees. “We are proud to continue our tradition supporting charity through the shooting sports – a true family activity and great American pastime that is special to all of us.”
