Indiana DNR Followers Can “Talk” to a Preservation Expert on Facebook on May 4

   04.30.12

Facebook followers of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources can “talk” online with architectural historian Amy Walker on Friday, May 4, from noon to 1 p.m., on the events page of DNR’s Facebook wall.

Participants can ask questions about topics such as what makes a building important or historic, architectural styles, preservation and what can be done to help preservation in Indiana. Walker will also answer questions about Preservation Month, which is May.

Future Facebook talk topics, instructions on how to join a conversation on Facebook, and commenting guidelines are at dnr.IN.gov/7315.htm.

To join this chat, go to Facebook.com/InDNR and click on the “Talk to an Expert” icon. You must click “Join” in the upper right-hand corner of the “Talk to a DNR Preservation Expert” event page to join the chat.

You may begin typing questions during the time slot. Advance questions may be sent to dkrause@dnr.IN.gov. The DNR expert will answer questions during the hour as time allows.
