St. Vrain State Park, Colorado Offers a Special Mother’s Day Program for Moms and Kids

Celebrate Mother’s Day with St. Vrain State Park on Saturday, May 12! Come learn about different mothering styles in nature, and enjoy a nature walk around Pelican Pond, looking for animal mothers and babies. Attendees will also play an animal guessing game, and make crafts for their mothers. This event will start at 3 p.m.
Participants should meet at the Camper Services Building near Mallard Pond. The event is free with admission to the park, $7 per day or $70 for an annual pass. All ages and abilities are welcome. This environmental education program will take place outside on Pelican Pond. Visitors are asked to please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, bring plenty of water and bug spray and be prepared to spend about 30 minutes outside.
