Montana’s Pictograph Cave State Park Sets Junior Ranger Family Day

Junior Ranger Day at Pictograph Cave State Park south of Billings is set for Saturday afternoon, June 2, 2012.

The program, which runs from noon to 4 p.m., includes guided activities for children ages 5 to 11 and their families that will help them learn about Montana wildlife, the park and its resources. Children who complete the activities will earn a Junior Ranger badge.

Pictograph Cave State Park is five miles south of Billings on Coburn Road. It is one of 54 Montana state parks that offer a variety of recreational, cultural, historical and natural resource opportunities.
