Celebrated Marine Artist Guy Harvey Scheduled for June Personal Appearance at Bass Pro Shops in Orlando

Celebrated marine artist, scientist and conservationist Guy Harvey will make a personal appearance at the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World location in Orlando on Saturday, June 2nd.
Guy Harvey, whose name is synonymous with conservation and ecology, has most recently lent his efforts to protecting shark, bluefin tuna, grouper and other sportfish populations that are being decimated around the planet. Since its creation in 2008, the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation has quickly become a leader in the marine research and conservation fields, funding an increasing number of very important innovative research and education projects. At the forefront of the marine conservation effort is the Guy Harvey Research Institute at the NSU Oceanographic Center.
“Healthy oceans are essential for life on our planet,” said Dr. Harvey. “It’s a vast arena, and a task best attacked in collaboration with other like-minded people. The more we collaborate, undertake and educate together, the better the result will be for the marine environment and, ultimately, for all of us.”
Dr. Harvey’s appearance is scheduled from 12-2 p.m. at the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World store located at 5156 International Drive in Orlando. For directions or information, call 407-563-5200. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each item in the Guy Harvey U.S. Military Collection will be donated to the Gary Sinese Foundation and Birdies for the Brave, both committed to assisting our heroes and their families.
