Prime, Cousins and Team USA Strike Gold in Turkey

G5 Outdoors, the leading manufacturer of premium archery equipment is proud to announce that Prime shooter Dave Cousins played an integral role in helping Team USA take home the gold at the Second Stage of the 2012 World Cup, in Antalya, Turkey.
Dave Cousins and the USA (ranked #1) men’s compound team shot scores of 235, 234, and 234, besting Turkey, India, and Italy en route to the Finals where they bested Denmark (ranked #6). Team USA showed very strong shooting in the final round with a 9 followed by five 10s. The Danish needed three perfect shots with their final three arrows to win or 29 points to tie. They scored two 10s and a 9 forcing a shoot-off (231-231).
As the Americans scored 10-10-9 in the tie-breaker, their opponents started with 10-8, Cousins and Team USA had clinched victory even before the last arrow by Team Denmark (9).
