Utah State Parks Reaching Out Connecting Kids In Nature (ROCKIN’) Program offers several outdoor adventures in celebration of National Get Outdoors Day Saturday, June 9:
Fishing the Fleet at Red Fleet State Park – Vernal
Take a trip to the northeast portion of the state and learn how to correctly set up a fishing rod, bait a hook and cast in the rocky, rugged surroundings of Red Fleet.
Tread Heads at Jordan River OHV State Recreation Area – Salt Lake
Get trained in off-highway motorcycle Tread Lightly practices and learn what riding opportunities are available.
Secret Female Thrill Seekers’ ATV Ride at Wasatch Mountain State Park – Midway
Female-only ride at Cascade Springs for youth 12 to 16 years old. Participants must have an OHV Education Certificate.
