Potterfield Speaks at Bianchi Cup Opening Ceremony

Earlier today, staff and competitors gathered for the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 MidwayUSA & NRA Bianchi Cup. As part of the festivities, MidwayUSA founder and CEO Larry Potterfield addressed the crowd.
Welcoming everyone back to Columbia, he thanked the crew from the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club for all of their hard work an preparation for the championship. Before the ceremony began, we stopped to talk with Larry and other executives from Midway about this year’s Bianchi Cup.
“In 2012, Midway celebrates our 35th anniversary and the Bianchi Cup celebrates its 34th. So for 34 years, Midway and the Bianchi Cup have worked together to bring you the most prestigious pistol championship in the world,” said Potterfield.
Matt Fleming, President of MidwayUSA echoed those sentiments when adding: “This is our 4th year as the title sponsor of the world’s greatest pistol championship. We’re delighted it is in Columbia and we’re proud to be part of such a great competition.”
