Montana FWP Game Wardens Honored by USFS

Earlier this week, four FWP game wardens from Regions 3 and 4 were awarded US Forest Service Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their strong working relationships with Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge and Lewis and Clark National Forests.

Wardens Ryan Gosse, Jim Smolcynski, Shane Brozovich, and John Lesofski were called “excellent partners” and thanked for helping to protect the natural resources within the national forests.

The District Ranger of the Madison Ranger District, Ken Harris said, “It is extremely important to build strong relationships with all organizations and agencies that have a vested interest and passion for the proper management and protection of our National Forests. These four individuals greatly exemplify this standard.”

Each warden received a framed certificate and a decorative set of spurs.
