Vermont’s Eagle Point Wildlife Area Scoping Public Meeting Scheduled for June 20

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will hold a scoping meeting with the public to discuss activities proposed for the Eagle Point Wildlife Management Area in Derby on Wednesday, June 20.

Subjects to be covered include long range planning, habitat management practices, future habitat goals for the property, design and location of wildlife viewing trails, primitive campsites, and parking for summer and winter activities.  Public input will be sought on proposals that have been developed for such uses of the property.

The June 20 public meeting will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Derby Line Village Hall, 104 Main Street – next to the U.S. Customs Office.
