Tips Sought in Deer Lodge-Area Deer Poaching Case in Montana

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens are looking for tips on a deer that was poached just east of Deer Lodge this week.
FWP Game Warden, Joe Kambic, reported finding a mule deer doe that was shot and abandoned between the late evening hours of Wednesday, June 6 and the early morning hours of Thursday, June 7 on the Spring Emery Road, approximately seven miles east of Deer Lodge.
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 for providing information that leads to a conviction.
