Are You the Next Iron Fly Champion?

Are you a creative fly tier? In Reno for 2012, the IFTD show will again feature the Iron Fly Competition. This fun event consists of two rounds of fly tying using the supplied vises, tools, and materials. In addition, all tiers will be supplied a “secret” ingredient that must be used in tying their own creative fly. All tiers will have 15 minutes to complete their fly before being judged for overall quality, originality, and use of the “secret” ingredient. Two winners will move on to compete for the title of the 2012 Iron Fly Champion.
This event was very popular at previous shows and will surely be an show favorite at the 2012 IFTD show in Reno.
