Colorado’s Lake Pueblo State Park Hosts an “America the Beautiful” Photo Contest

Lake Pueblo State Park is sponsoring an “America the Beautiful” photography contest. The deadline for submitting pictures is Monday, June 25, by 4 p.m. The contest is open to any and all amateur photographers. The categories for entry include: Colorado, Landscape, Outdoor Recreation, Patriotic, Wildlife, and a Youth category for photographers under the age of 16. This juried contest will include an award for Best in Show and First Place category winners as well as runners-up. Entry is free, but limited to a total of three pictures per photographer in any combination of categories. All entries must include:
- A mounted or matted picture, with minimum photo size of 8”x10” and a maximum overall size of 20”x20” including mat.
- A useable digital copy or a high resolution jpeg file.

The contest entries will be exhibited Lake Pueblo’s visitor center Friday, June 29, through Monday, July 9, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
