“Realtree Road Trips’” Michael Waddell is back and he’s brought a few friends along. Beginning June 25, 2012 and airing on Mondays at 12:30 a.m. EST, Fridays at 5 p.m. EST and Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on the Outdoor Channel, “Realtree Road Trips” will take you on a wild and crazy ride, but with a few twists and turns you didn’t expect. The TV show has undergone a facelift, featuring a new logo, new places, and best of all, new faces. Two of your favorites, Travis “T-Bone” Turner and Nick Mundt, are teaming up with Waddell as co-hosts for this newest season of “Road Trips.”
“I’m excited about Nick and T-Bone coming onboard,” Waddell says. “I’ve always believed in them both. They are good and credible hunters with likable personalities, and they’re going to add a lot to the show.”
The new “Road Trips” format will play out more like a documentary of the hosts’ lives during the hunting season. From bowfishing to hunting big game, like elk, deer and turkey, from Mexico to Montana, the “Road Trips” gang will keep you entertained with their hunts and their antics.
“The show is going to be really cool,” Waddell says. “It will have a fresh and new feel, and I’m excited about sharing it with the fans. I’m especially excited about showcasing some of our bow hunts. Viewers will get a kick out of the drama that unfolds when I have a run-in with a Kansas buck that I’ve hunted for two years. T-Bone will share a great hunt in Mexico and Nick’s experiences back home will keep everyone entertained.”
Turner says he’s thrilled to share a hosting spot on “Realtree Road Trips” and says the new role comes naturally.
“My role as co-host on ‘Realtree Road Trips’ feels like a well-fitting glove,” Turner says. “Michael, Nick and I are just one big family working with and for Realtree. Our participation on ‘Road Trips’ is just an extension of an already committed partnership. It just makes sense.”
