Exclusive New Series, Destination Whitetail, Debuts on Sportsman Channel
Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is proud to announce exclusive new series Destination Whitetail to the must-watch Big Game Wednesday lineup on Sportsman. The show debuts Wednesday, June 27 at 8:30pm ET/PT during the premiere week of “Made in America,” which kicks off 575 hours of new content across 100 different series for the network’s Q3 lineup.
Destination Whitetail investigates the people, places and ways to hunt whitetail throughout North America. In the 43 states that have deer populations, their habitat varies; as do the traditions and methods used to hunt them. The show follows every imaginable type of hunter and weapon used from guns to bows.
“Whitetail hunting is always destination TV for our viewers and securing this exclusive series further supports our place as the leader in whitetail programming,” said Graig Hale, VP of Business Development at Sportsman Channel. “This program adds to our lineup of antler-only programming on two nights this season – Big Game Wednesdays and Thursday Traditions. Destination Whitetail will explore North America with host, Lauren Rich, and will look behind the scenes with several of the outdoor industry’s most prolific personalities and document how whitetails have contributed to their success. The unique format will entertain and inform deer hunters on how “DW” pursues whitetail across the country. Rich, a hard-core outdoor enthusiast, has been hunting and fishing since she was a young girl and is passionate about bringing audiences the most informative deer hunting secrets. The show will take viewers across North America with visits to Alabama for dog hunting for whitetails as well trips to Kentucky, Minnesota, Texas and Florida.
Don’t miss Destination Whitetail and 21 other brand-new series starting June 25 for Sportsman Channel’s exciting premiere week, “Made in America.” The network’s Q3 lineup includes 575 hours of new content, including 22 brand-new series and 70 returning series with all-new episodes, featuring the network’s battled-tested hunters, legendary anglers and top experts.
