Buck Knives is proud to announce the addition of Jr. Pro Staffers Walker and Wyatt Schearer, co-hosts of Shoot Straight with Chad Schearer.
Walker and Wyatt Schearer have been passionate about the outdoors at such an early age and have grown up in hunting camps around the world. They are the sixth generation of hunters in their family.
Walker Schearer is 11 years old and has hunted from Africa to Hawaii and several places in between. He took his first turkey and mule deer at age six.
His biggest animals taken have been at age seven, a Zebra in Africa and a six-point bull elk in New Mexico at age nine.
Walker was the first hunter to ever take an animal with the new CVA Accura Mountain Rifle.
Wyatt, at age 10, has also hunted Africa, Hawaii and other states as well. He harvested his first turkey at age four and whitetail deer at age five.
Wyatt has harvested several turkeys and is only one turkey away from his grand slam.
Wyatt has won numerous elk calling competitions at the ISE Best of the West Elk Calling Competition. He also placed second in the World Elk Calling competition.
“We are excited about this opportunity for our boys to join the Buck Knives family as Buck knives have been used in our family for many generations,” said Chad and Marsha Schearer.
Chuck Buck, Chairman of Buck Knives said, “I have personally known the Schearer family for 15 years and have watched these boys grow into great outdoorsmen. I admire their passion for the outdoors and appreciate Chad and Marsha teaching them hunter safety and responsibility at an early age. It is a great honor to have them join our Pro Staff team and we are delighted to have them help us reach out to youth hunters.”
