Mustang Creek Ranch is proud to announce Dr. James C. Kroll will be the featured guest speaker at the 7th Annual Whitetail Workshop on July 21, 2012. One of North America’s most respected authorities on whitetail deer, Dr. Kroll (aka ‘Dr. Deer’) will talk one-on-one with hunters, landowners and deer breeders on the keys to successful deer management.

The annual Mustang Creek Whitetail Workshop include informative seminars on a range of topics, such as herd health, whitetail nutrition, record keeping, bottle-rearing fawns, and a hands-on tour of Mustang Creek Ranch’s all-new deer handling facility. Dr. Kroll will also discuss his new Dr. Deer Management System, a one-of-a-kind tool that helps hunters and land owners keep accurate records on their hunting properties and receive direct consultation from him. The event will run from 9 am to 1 pm.

“Dr. Kroll is widely recognized as the Father of Modern Whitetail Management and we’re very excited to have him as our guest at this year’s workshop,” says Bill Grace, owner of Mustang Creek Ranch. “Whether your managing a hunting lease or establishing a breeding program, everyone wants larger, healthier deer. We’ve coordinated our management strategy with Dr. Kroll for nearly a decade and we’ve learned over the years that continually educating yourself about the deer, their nutrition and behaviors as well as keeping informed about the newest management techniques are the real keys to success.”

Mustang Creek Ranch has painstakingly bred superior whitetail for 20 years and is one of the most successful deer breeding operations in Texas. Mustang Creek Ranch is located in historic Salado, Texas, and is well-known for its Intensive deer management program and strong genetics. Mustang Creek was one of the first scientific breeders to artificially inseminate whitetail deer as part of its commercial operation.

The Mustang Creek Ranch Whitetail Workshop includes Saturday morning meet and greet, coffee, continental breakfast, light lunch, refreshments and industry-wide established whitetail workshop. Cost: $20 per person. To register, go to www.MustangCreek.com or call 254.947.0026.
