Video from the Top of the Great Smoky Mountains During Powerful Windstorm

This video was shot from Clingman’s Dome, the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains, just as a massive storm rolled in signal the start of the powerful July 5 windstorm that tore through the area. The system responsible for the storm claimed two lives. The people who filmed the video reported just making it back their vehicle and feeling “very blessed to have made it off the mountain.”
