Brian Zins Enters NRA Championship on Top

Port Clinton, Ohio – Ten-time NRA National Pistol Champ Brian Zins returned to the NRA Championships today with a vengeance. The Top Shot runner-up served notice on the competition with a morning performance that currently finds him in the Preliminary Pistol Championship lead. Pictured above, Zins’ first two shots were perfectly placed for the .22 Caliber Stage of the match.

Zins finds himself in a good spot with an excellent score of 893-56X … only a point away from his 1996 National Championship Record of 894-50X. Last year’s winner, SFC James Henderson, is in second with a 890-50X while David Lange makes up from yesterday’s shooting with a third place finish.
