The PENN Battle Combo was awarded the Best Combo Award at the 2012 ICAST show in Orlando, Fla. The PENN Battle Combo is designed to give anglers the best combination for angling in the harsh saltwater conditions.
PENN introduced the Battle spinning reel just a couple of years ago and the highly versatile and extremely reliable reel has become an inshore favorite. Now PENN offers anglers a great value-packed deal with the Battle family of combination rods and reels.
The combo features the Battle spinning reel on a one-piece graphite composite Battle rod complete with stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts. The handle is created from a graphite reel seat and sculpted EVA and cork grips.
“The PENN Battle Combo is designed for handling saltwater,” said Mike Rice, PENN Product Brand Manager. “We are excited to be recognized by industry leaders and look forward to providing more new products in the very near future.”
