Conservation Group to Host Fundraiser Dinner in Reading, Pennsylvania

The Charles E. Bechtel Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will host its 35th Anniversary Sportsmen and Conservation Banquet on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Crown Plaza, 1741 Papermill Road, Reading, PA beginning with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Although this is a new location, the evening will still feature live and silent auctions, games, drawings and door prizes, highlighted with the finest selection of quality firearms, artwork and collectable’s.

According to Trygve Kleppinger, individual membership and dinner tickets are $60. There is also an optional family membership package for $90 which includes two dinners. Additional family dinners are available at $30 each, Youth membership and dinner, $20. Banquet, Conservation and Sustaining sponsorship packages are also available at $275, $500 and $1,000 respectively.

Sponsor contributions received by Sept. 9th will be listed in the banquet program.

As with all RGS fundraiser’s, proceeds from this event will be used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat.
