Outdoor Heritage Inc. has announced a three-year plan to bring a new Pro-am and team bass fishing circuit for Western Anglers. The circuits will launch in the spring of 2013; a tentative schedule is pasted below. Outdoor Heritage has already secured permits for several California and Arizona lakes and plans to expand to the Pacific northwest and Texas in the next three years.
Tony Franceschi, co-owner, president and CEO at Outdoor Heritage Inc., said, “We’ve been offered a wide variety of tournaments in the past, but never one that provided anglers the opportunity to chase the dream of making a living fishing out West. Our plan is to build this organization so that in the future, whether you are just starting out or have been competing for years, there will be the opportunity to make your dreams a reality!”
Franceschi hopes the tournaments will be popular with anglers aspiring to become professionals in competition. He plans to offer media coverage, including television coverage for all circuits. Sponsorship and payouts will be formally announced at a later date. The tentative schedule can be seen below the video.
