Montana: Region 3 Citizens Advisory Committee Meets Tomorrow

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Region 3 Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet tomorrow, September 12, at the FWP Regional Office in Bozeman (1400 S. 19th Ave.) from 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The agenda for this quarter’s meeting includes Wildlife Division updates (wolf trapper certification class, year-round bison habitat proposal, and progress made by the Elk Working Group), Fisheries updates (impact of drought and what’s happening with the Madison River CAC), a tour of the wildlife laboratory, and a presentation given by Regional Investigator Chad Murphy.

The CAC meets quarterly to provide input and guidance on the many natural resource and management issues addressed by FWP in southwest Montana. All meetings are open to the public.
