Pokagon State Park will host a fall photography workshop on Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the nature center.
The course instructor is award-winning photographer Barbara Knights-Hale of Jitterbug Photography. The workshop is hands-on with two indoor sessions and a lot of time outside.
The class is designed for beginners and outdoor photography enthusiasts. Participants will learn aperture priority (obtaining the correct exposure), shutter priority, bracketing, setting AF and drive modes, ISO speeds, formatting and use of a tripod.
Participants will need to bring a camera and the camera’s manual, tripod, adequate batteries, any additional lenses, notebook and pen, and adequate outdoor clothing and gear for the weather. The program will occur rain or shine.
