Toyota Trucks to Host No Entry Fee Bonus Bucks Team Tournament

Bassmaster Elite Series anglers will join Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. as special seminar leaders in the no-entry fee Toyota Trucks Bonus Bucks Team Tournament planned for Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 on Lake Norman near Charlotte, N.C. The one-day tournament was created in an effort to show appreciation for the hundreds of bass anglers that have purchased a Toyota truck and registered for the Toyota Trucks Bonus Bucks program.

“The support we’ve received from anglers who have purchased our trucks has both humbled and excited us. This ‘no entry fee’ event is designed to offer our sincere appreciation for the hundreds of anglers that have supported our brand and signed-up for Bonus Bucks. We’re hoping to see several of them at Lake Norman,” said Jim Baudino, Engagement Marketing Manager for Toyota.

All registered Bonus Bucks participants are invited, and only one of the team members must be registered in the Bonus Bucks program to be eligible to compete in the tournament which will be held at Queen’s Landing on fish-filled Lake Norman, N.C.  Tournament officials from B.A.S.S. will be on site to help orchestrate the tournament portion of the event.

The top 30 teams are guaranteed a paycheck. The first 100 teams to sign up for the tournament will receive a gift pack including a custom-made “Tundra Fishing Team” rod from Quantum, as well as a tackle pack, and clothing from Carhartt.

Participating anglers are required to pre-register by Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.  B.A.S.S. tournament staff will be on site Saturday afternoon Oct. 13, 2012 at Queen’s Landing for angler check-in, followed by a series of brief but intimate “Tundra tailgate seminars” conducted by Elite Series anglers Kevin VanDam, Terry Scroggins, Mike Iaconelli, Gerald Swindle, Britt Myers, Marty Robinson and Casey Ashley. The first 50 teams to sign up will enjoy a free dinner cruise with these Elite anglers Saturday evening; however, the Elite Series anglers will not be eligible to fish the tournament.

All participating teams will be treated to a complimentary barbecue at Queen’s Landing immediately following the weigh-in on Sunday.

Participants are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible for this fellowship-filled, prize-rich event, as limited space is available. To register, please visit www.toyotafishing.com or call (918) 742-6424.
