The list of private timberlands closed due to fire danger is growing due to continued dry weather. Check the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Internet site regularly to learn the access status of large private timberlands. For private and non-federal public forestlands, call the Oregon Department of Forestry field office nearest your destination (office numbers) or check with the land manager.
