Connecticut Hunting and Fishing Appreciation Day This Saturday!

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and the Friends of Sessions Woods are sponsoring CT Hunting & Fishing Appreciation Day this Saturday, September 22, 2012, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area in Burlington.  This FREE family events features kid’s crafts and activities, live raptors, hunting dog demonstrations, ranges, casting pools, cowboy action shooting, workshops, and the chance to speak with DEEP biologists and representatives from outdoor and hunting/fishing organizations.

Free shuttle bus service is available from Lewis Mills High School off of Route 4 in Burlington.
