Ohio’s Wingfoot Lake Boat Ramp Paving Begins September 25th

Anglers interested in pursuing Wingfoot Lake’s abundant fish population should note that the lake’s Waterloo Road boat launch will be temporarily closed beginning Tuesday, September 25th to allow paving of the facility. This ramp is located at the west end of the lake at the end of Farr Lane. A second boat ramp located on the east side of the lake through Wingfoot Lake State Park will remain open during construction. However, boaters should also note that low water conditions currently limits use of the eastern ramp to small, portageable boats. Shore anglers may still access the lake from the Wingfoot State Park shoreline. Construction at the Waterloo boat ramp will continue until approximately mid-October, depending on weather conditions.
