Bryan Thrift Wins Toyota Texas Bass Classic

Enduring a field of 50 of the world’s best bass anglers, and brutally rough wind and rain conditions during today’s championship round, Bryan Thrift of Shelby, NC, boated a five-fish, 25-pound stringer on the final day of the Toyota Texas Bass Classic to run away with the top spot and a $150,000 prize package. Thrift brought in a three-day total of 15 fish, weighing 53 pounds, 4 ounces.
