Michigan’s Equine Trailways Subcommittee to Meet Oct. 23 in Clare

The Equine Trailways Subcommittee (ETS) will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 23, the Department of Natural Resources announced today. The public meeting will be held at the Doherty Hotel, 604 North McEwan, in Clare, Mich., starting at 10 a.m.

The Equine Trailways Subcommittee was created by Part 721, Michigan Trailways, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, as a subcommittee of the Michigan Snowmobile and Trails Advisory Council (MSTAC), to advise the MSTAC and the Department of Natural Resources on the development and use of the pack and saddle trailways network, promotion of the state’s equine industry, and funding to conduct pack and saddle trailway reviews.
