A quiet Jackson, Mississippi office was disrupted when a deer broke in to wreak serious damage in the break room. At just 80 pounds, the young deer quickly realized it made a false move when it jumped into the break room through a double-pane window. It started panicking and thrashing about, attempting to jump on top of counters and cupboards in a frenzy.
Employees locked the room to contain the deer while animal control was en route to the office. Animal control arrived to find that the deer had cut itself on the broken window glass and left smears of blood throughout the room. Eventually it was caught and released outside. The deer was alright, but it surely left the office workers with a story to remember. I bet there were some people in the office just dreaming about hunting this weekend and hoping that the deer would just come to them. Be careful what you wish for.
