Mississippi DWFP Offers Chance to Win Lifetime Sportsman License

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is offering Mississippi hunters and anglers the chance to win a Lifetime Sportsman License.

Customers who purchase a 2013 Sportsman License will automatically be entered into a drawing for a Lifetime Sportsman License.

The drawing, sponsored by the Foundation for Mississippi, Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, will be held on November 15, 2012, and the winner will be notified by email. Participants must purchase their 2013 Sportsman License by midnight on November 14, 2012 to be entered into the drawing.

The Resident Lifetime Sportsman License is a $1,000 value and includes the Sportsman, WMA User Permit, and Saltwater privileges. The winner of the Lifetime Sportsman License may transfer the license to a qualifying Mississippi resident if he or she chooses.

The hunting and fishing license fee system is the primary method of financing the management and protection of wildlife and their habitats and ensuring the continued efforts of conservation in Mississippi for generations to come.
