Children of all ages can create and take home fun nature-themed holiday crafts during Saturday Winter Craft Workshops at the historic Stanley Schoolhouse in Chain O’Lakes State Park.

The Saturday workshops are free and hosted by the park’s interpretive naturalist. The Stanley Schoolhouse is heated. The workshops schedule:

  • Nov. 10 at 1 p.m.: Turkey Table Centerpiece Craft.
  • Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.: Trail 8 Turkey Waddle Walk.
  • Dec. 1 at 1 p.m.: Popsicle Reindeer Tree Ornaments.
  • Dec. 8 at 11 a.m.: Pinecone Birdfeeders.
  • Dec. 15 at 11 a.m.: Magic Reindeer Food.
