Matt White and Dustin Lutt at Rockhouse Motion have been working with a few amazing friends and filmmakers to bring a story to life through video. A Deliberate Life is a story of five friends who have come together through fly fishing and found that their lives tell similar stories. They’ve all chosen to live a deliberate life and chase dreams, take the risk of uncertain outcomes and they’ve succeeded at creating a story worth telling.
Matt White and Dustin Lutt of Rockhouse Motion took on the cinematography and post production while Grant Taylor and Matt Smythe of Rochester, New York took care of the storyline and still photography. Collectively the four go by Silo4. Matt White had this to say about the project: “I would say our ultimate goal with the film was to create a film that is not only visually stunning but carries a story with the images. To dig into people and make them ask the question, “Am I doing all I can with my only chance?” We are very excited to watch the film travel through festivals starting with the iF4 in January.”
A Deliberate Life will be screening on January 5th in Denver, Colorado at the International Fly Fishing Film Festival, IF4.
