Ruffed Grouse Society to Host Presentation on Wildlife in Delafield, WI

The David V. Uihlein Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will host an informal presentation and “meet and greet” on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Revere’s Wells Street Tavern, 505 Wells Street, Delafield, WI beginning at 6 p.m.,

According to RGS regional director Dave Johnson, leading RGS wildlife biologist will update chapter members and guests on the Wisconsin Drummer Fund, current habitat projects and the Coverts Project Workshop – a three day educational seminar for private landowners interested in enhancing their woodlands for wildlife. This will be followed with a Q & A session.

Open to everyone who has an interest in the restoration of habitat favored by grouse, woodcock and other wildlife species, the meeting will get underway at 6 p.m. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
