Don’t Forget to Carry your Actual License while Hunting in Arkansas

Arkansas big-game hunters are required to have their actual license in their possession before hunting. Big game includes deer, bear, turkey, alligator and elk.

Hunters who purchase licenses over the telephone or online can have a confirmation number and carry it with them while hunting small game like squirrels, rabbits, doves and quail.

The confirmation number is valid for 14 days. But they have to have their actual license in hand while hunting big game. This regulation has been in effect since 2004.

This is done through habitat management, fish stocking, hunting and fishing regulations, and a host of other programs.
