San Francisco-based media relations agency OutsidePR & SportsMarketing welcomes new account executive Rebecca Robinson to its dynamic team of professionals.
“Rebecca is a great fit here,” said Outside PR President Gordon Wright. “She has a great background in both publicity and social media outreach, and as a former journalist, really knows how to write and communicate well with our friends in the media.”
Robinson comes to OutsidePR after serving as a Communications Specialist at Ridejoy, a ride-sharing mobile app company in San Francisco, where she led a national PR launch campaign. She also served as a PR and social media consultant at Sea Studios in Monterey, California. Prior to her PR career, she worked in journalism, as a producer for Oregon Public Broadcasting and in several different staff and freelance writing positions.
“The work quality and work environment here at OutsidePR are as top-notch as I’ve ever seen,” Robinson said. “It’s a fun place to work, with terrific clients, so I’m thrilled to be here and help out.”
Robinson is a 2006 graduate of Bennington College in Vermont, and is a passionate runner, backpacker and traveler. She has won numerous journalism awards, including 1st Place for General Excellence in 2011 from the California Newspaper Publishers Association, a Gracie Award for Outstanding Talk Show from the Alliance for Women in Media, and 1st Place for Public Affairs Journalism from the Associated Press Oregon Broadcasters Competition.
